accordingly to this verse (2 Cor 5:19-21), God through Christ has removed His wrath on the Whole world of the living. We are no longer His enemy. Yet, the other side of His reconciliation is our reconciliation of ourselves toward GOD. Do we not have to do this, Robert....If this is right, then so many will not Reconcile themselves to GOD thus the reconciliation of His wrath (burying the hatchet) so to speak. is meaningless for that person. It appears that you don't know what the Gospel is. This may be why you are a Calvinist.
The Gospel is the work that Jesus did in our name and on our behalf that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.
This is a past historical event, never to be repeated. "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself" 2 Corinthians 5:19. God sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ, Colossians 1:20. As far as God is concerned Jesus has ALREADY victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and now sits in heaven as the "The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16. This is why Paul wrote, "You are complete in him" Colossians 2:10. No predestination needed.
