Will You Die in Your Sins?

So everything Jesus said became irrelevant when He died on the cross?

Comingfrom. Thankyou for mentioning it.
His atoning sacrifice can never be born by any of us: not one of us. No not one.
The 'Levite within' is a curious statement. Is it okay if I ask you to elaborate?
There are two verses in the law that explicitly warn us to not forsake the Levite within.

Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 12:19

And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him;
for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

Deuteronomy 14:27

They are pretty clear statements, but the meaning wasn't all that clear to me at first,
but I had already been shown my gates, so the rest was not to hard to work out.
The Levites is the tribe which keep God's law, and do the service in His presence,
and evidently God has put a spirit of Levi within us.

Praise God ❤️

Yes. But I would also encourage a reflection of faith, and grace...

Standing before the Lord is what solidified my faith in Him,
and His praise and rewards let me know I have found grace in His sight.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do His commandments:
His praise endureth for ever.

Psalm 111:10

And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him.
And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.

1 John 3:24

Thanks for the discourse. What you say here in your post: I have found grace in His sight is shared by a lot of us :)
He so loved us, He sent His only begot Son :)
Comingfrom, I post not to win any argument, not to seem boastful in understanding.
Simply to engage and find out what others think: yet draw a line in what I think.
When I am wrong I admit it, even publicly.
I hope we can converse more often.
I much prefer to focus on increasing human wellbeing on the forum, and shy sometimes.
GA says it is conflict avoidance, and part of me knows he is correct. He is wise that way.
1 John is powerful, and such a gift... so I do not shy from it: love. The rescue mission to us is out of love.
Some people say we should not overemphasise grace: but why not.
Most people I know, me included, believe this to trump sin- it does not mean we live a rogue mischievous life knowing it... it means we change in some way, and grow.
Hope all is well with you,
Blessings
PS: I should find a Scripture reference, but thought to free associate on this one.
One more thing, cold south of the boarder now and for the next few days- send some Dubbo sunshine this way :)

And everything God said by His messengers did as well?

Hard for me to believe.
Especially as Paul was confirming to have faith in Jesus and in God's word.

Yep, I'm on the narrow way,
going the opposite way to the majority on the broadway.

I reject not the cornerstone.
I forsake not the Levite that is within my gates.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God,
Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation:
he that believeth shall not make haste.

Isaiah 28:16

I look around, and see that the whole world isn't saved.

In fact, everyone rejects His words and His law,
since that is what the current generation of the children of God now teach.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:19
You are going against what Paul wrote.

For some reason, you do not understand the Gospel and justification by faith. As far as God is concerned Jesus has defeated sin, death and the devil and now sits in heaven as the "King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16. As far as God is concerned the law has been abolished, Romans 10:4. And all sin has been atoned for. Nothing is ours until it is received by faith. You must believe the Gospel, or you will perish.

The fact that you don't understand these things is a concern. All that are indwelt with the Holy Spirit understand these things.

Thank you also, L.B.

Sometimes, when I am among Christians,
I get the impression there are two faeries, called Faith and Grace, going about the earth and saving them.
They talk about Grace as if it is an actual thing, or substance, or agent, that goes about randomly saving people.
(I say randomly, because they say there is nothing anyone can do earn it.)

God's grace is His approval. Isn't it?
Or is it His Son's blood?

The weather has come all the way up here.
It is cold and rainy here too.
After years of drought, it is now turning sub-tropical here. ☺️

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all,
that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Acts 11:23

For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you,
to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him;
Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you,
and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

Deuteronomy 11:22-23

You are going against what Paul wrote.
I know,
it couldn't possibly be you who is going against what Paul wrote. Could it.

And I reckon you must be right,
that Paul really was against us keeping God's law and against us keeping Jesus' sayings too.
So I am dumping the holy scriptures now, to believe in you, and all your brethren who say that.

And I feel such a burden lifted off me already.
I won't have to go about reminding what God said anymore.
And I won't have all the Christians wagging the finger at me anymore.
Whew, what a relief.
:D

And how does it help you, to understand all that?

Wouldn't it be more practical and helpful to one,
if they understood the Lord's words, and feared Him?

a good understanding have all they that do His commandments:
His praise endureth for ever.

You believe all that are indwelt with the Holy Spirit now forsake God's law in the holy scripture.
And you're concerned, because that is unbelievable to me.

I'm touched by your concern. 😘

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
Job 32:9

Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things.
Proverbs 28:5

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:8

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:8
How many times does the Bible have to tell you, "There is none righteous, no, not one?" Romans 3:10.

Faith and Grace are many of our foundational faith statements in the atonement and salvation narrative, these and many more forming a meta narrative of the unfolding mission God made for us.
Access to repentance and the Christological gaze is revealed in the OT- NT :)
Consider the Grace Admin...
Still cold down here... wish we could grow pineapples in Melbourne!

Yes, that is true.
And, as scripture says, the cornerstone has been rejected.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures,
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner:
this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Matthew 21:42

The sun has broke out here today.
Its gonna be a nice day. ☺️

How many times does God and Jesus and the prophets and the apostles say in the Bible,
keep My commandments?
And, keep My words.
And, keep the law.
And, be ye doers.

For righteousness sake.

By the word of truth, by the power of God,
by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
