Defining the godhead - an open discussion on Unitarianism, Binitarianism and Trinitarianism

Ludicrous. In spite of what Gnosticism tells us, Yahweh is not the devil.

Who told you that the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob was Yahweh? And before there was ever a promise to Abram (which means Father) and his descendants, there was a promise to Noah and his descendants. Who told you that it was Yahweh speaking to Noah?

Moses.

You put an awful lot of stock in what Moses has told you. Jesus didn't.

And neither did the Father-- for Moses in all his personal glory and self-proclaimed fame-- God didn't allow him to enter the promised land.

What is the REV "Bible"? (the unitarian mistranslation?)
This is why you don't have many friends.

The REV translation returns YHWH to the 7,000 places the trinitarian translations took it out. (Most use capital LORD, which trinitarians like to pretend refers to other lowercase-lords; namely Jesus, when it does not) The REV translation makes it obvious who God is - and by extension, who God is not. Hence, my question of what you think of those verses.

Rather than demonstrate intellectual honesty and being trainable in processing knowledge, your devotion to your IDOLATRY forces you to respond with a snarky question of your own - as if these verses are invalid.

He apparently thinks Yahweh is the devil. Perhaps you can help him by quoting from multiple trinitarian translations.
No. I shake his dust from my feet. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God is the one unforgivable sin and he just committed it.

Not sure how to deal with this blasphemy of Moses and the other prophets. There is only one true God of the the Bible, YHWH, who we relate to as Father (Jesus John 17:3). Read again the words of Isaiah and Joel

I am Yahweh, and there is none else.
Besides me, there is no God.
IS 45:5 (REV)

You will know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I am Yahweh your God,

and there is no other
Joel 2:27 (REV)

That saw cuts both ways. - LOL

And for the record, I have TONS of friends.
In some cases, even my doctrinal enemies still love me.
Quotes from memory:
"You are my favorite Universalist."
"You are my favorite deconstructionist."

Why do you claim there is only one name for God?

Moses asked God for His name. What was it?

Exodus 3:13-14 NIV
Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,
‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.[a] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Jesus called God, "the Father".

John 5:36 NRSVue
But I have a testimony greater than John’s.
The works that the Father has given me to complete, the very works that I am doing,
testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.

@Wrangler
I didn't see a response to either of these two posts.

Let's try another one.
The Word was God. The Word became flesh and lived among us.
Who was the Word, that was God and lived among us? (Jesus)

John 1:1-3 NRSVue
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through him,
and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being ...
And the Word became flesh and lived among us,
and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son,[d]
full of grace and truth.

My turn...
Who is the "us" and "our" in this verse?

Genesis 1:26 NIV
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,
so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky,
over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over
all the creatures that move along the ground.”
