Why the Law Works the Wrath of God, Romans 4:15

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes" Romans 10:4.
That means the way of righteousness is no longer by works but by faith in Christ, whereby His righteousness is counted as the believers. (Rom 9:30; Romans 3:22; 1 Cor 1:30; 2 Cor 5:21)

Psalm 19
The law of the Lord is perfect, [e]converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the [f]honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.

David was a man who attached faith to the law because He saw God in it.

The law is not your savior. The law is your condemner.
Thank you Robert.
But you are my beloved condemner. 😘
What I could not do in His law, God sent Jesus to help me do it.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,
God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:3-4

When you walk into the judgment and profess that you keep the commandments, you will probably disappear in a puff of smoke.
Every man's work shall be made manifest:
for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

1 Corinthians 3:13

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing,
whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Ecclesiastes 12:14

And, behold, I come quickly;
and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Revelation 22:12

Bless Jesus ❤️

God didn't send the law to help you. He sent the law to show you that you are a sinner in need of a savior.

Except God did send us His word, His Son Jesus.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world,
that I should bear witness unto the truth.
Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice.

John 18:37

And within God's word is a law. Commandments and statutes and judgments.
That we might have the knowledge of sin, and thereby sin no more.

The word of God most high is the fountain of wisdom;
and His ways are everlasting commandments.

Sirach 1:5

Praise God. ❤️

But you are still sinning. The law that you worship will not keep you from sinning. As a matter of fact, the law will cause you to sin more, Romans 7:7-12. This is why Jesus abolished it by nailing it to his cross, Colossians 2:14.

You continue to quote Old Covenant law that has been abolished. Jesus nailed it to his cross, Colossians 2:14. It is very apparent that you think that Paul is a heretic.
Who was the ten commandments used to represent all the comandments abolished in respect of . Has murder been abolished ?

But you are still sinning.
Show me the commandment, and I shall sin no more.

So many men told me.

But the Lord tells me,
and it seems so very plain and clear to me...

And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand,
in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good:
for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers:
If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God,
to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law,
and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
For this commandment which I command thee this day,
it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Deuteronomy 30:9-14

And Paul confirms it.

And the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,
Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

Romans 10:6-8

The reason that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness is because Christ is the fulfillment of the law. King David saw Jesus Christ in the law. Israels promised Messiah. The law is good because it reveals the righteousness of God. The law is good because it convicts us of our sins and brings us to Christ, Galatians 3:24. However, the law does not save nor does it justify, Romans 3:20.

Romans 10:6-8
The word that Paul preached was the Gospel.

The Mosiac law has been replaced with Christ and his Gospel. It is the new and living way. The Old Covenant and the law was a ministration of death, 2 Corinthians 3:7-18. It was a ministration of death because it demanded absolute perfection or judgment. "The soul that sins must die". Thankfully, Jesus fulfilled and abolished it by nailing it to his cross, Colossians 2:14.

Who was the ten commandments used to represent all the comandments abolished in respect of . Has murder been abolished ?
The law has not been abolished for the unsaved. They will be judged by it.

I never said the law saves us. I was countering your insistence that as Christians we don't have to obey any laws or rules.

If you live by the law, you will be judged by the law. The Holy Spirit is the Christians guide and teacher, John 16:13, not the law.
