Robert, if you are the perfect man of God,Paul quoted both law and Gospel because there were many in Paul's congregation that were unsaved and needed to hear the law.
then sure, you don't need the law.
But we are sinners, and fallible, (you said so yourself) so need the law.
Even saved people can still commit sin, can't they?
Unlike you, I had to know the law, to know if I was obeying it."Knowing this, that the law is not made for the righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient" 1 Timothy 1:9.
And when you know it, well, then you come to love it,
for His law is a delight. Is it not.
You better try that spirit that leads you,The reason that the righteous man does not need the law is because he is led by the Holy Spirit.
if he leads you away from God's words and law.
I cast out every spirit that came to me claiming to be the Christ,
that would not teach me God's commandments.
Agreed, but you want me to believe it was abolished. Ended. The law is what brings people to Christ, Galatians 3:24.
Why?
So nobody is brought to Christ anymore?
