Is there a thread on this topic already? I would like to explain those scriptures to you. Those scriptures don't have anything to do with total depravity.

Those verses teach that all men are sinners, they do not teach the false Calvinist doctrine of total depravity. Anyone can choose to believe the Gospel.

Depends on how you mean I suppose. I don't think any is able to be righteous without knowing and abiding by the law of the Spirit and the teachings of the Christ and the conscience.

Do I think infants are sinners? No. I think sin is inherited via upbringing and surroundings. To me a baby doesn't come out of the womb desirous of sin.

Everyone is born into sin, Psalm 51:5. Everyone is related to Adam who was the representative of the human race, Romans 5:17-19.

I will never think those verses support the idea that new born babies are born sinners. I see it differently. I'm not saying that all haven't sinned. All are certainly in need of Messiah.

By saying that Babies are born in Sin does not mean they have already sinned...What it means is that they have inherited the sin nature that all men inherit. Actually it is a tradition among the Jewish people that the Children are not of knowing age until 12 or 13.Yet, we already know that there are children in the world that are not in this category..
