Genesis 6 conspiracy

It means people can use them to support anything. They are like inkblots, people see what they want to see.

So then is that the whole purpose of parables which without Christ spoke not. . just use your imagination?

So then does that means words do not need a understanding attached to them? The tower of Babal just make a noise?

Like in the beginning.. . . . . In the beginning nothing said nothing and nothing came into exitance .Or according the
words that define parables or what you call Ink blot ,.

The law of faith is still. . . . Let there be and it was very good . Not ink blot good for nothing

how can you not understand this? if Jesus says a flock of ducks fly over a river, you think it means no giants ever exist, you seriously believe that to be sound doctrine? maybe it does mean that, maybe it doesn't, who knows.
this is no different than saying the spirit told me so it must be true, how are you gonna prove that? you cant, thats why only crazy cult leaders like Jim Jones use these passages, he made them into what ever he wanted.
they have their value but you cant base doctrine on them

I would think ducks would fall under the category of clean birds used in parables or ceremonial laws to represent the redeemed .Rivers the living water of the gospel . A person cannot simply make up what they think the metaphor's mean.

Can you give a few examples of how crazy cult leaders like Jim Jones misled using parables?

thats what i just did in the last few post.
do you really not understand or you see how this blows up your argument so your using this as a distraction.

as well as giant traditions in most of the ancient traditions. North american nations tell stories of giants with 6 fingers, toes, and double rows of teeth, where have I heard that story . . . ohh thats right, the bible.

Crazy how all these ancient cultures created the exact same hollywood fantasy? They lived in different times, different parts of the world and never met each other, what are the odds?
Exactly.
It would not be odd that Genesis 6 was speaking of celestial beings having offspring with human women because every ancient culture of that time would have accepted it as fact.
They would have never thought it meant that believing men were having offspring with unbelieving women.

the problem with parables is they can mean 100 different things, thats why we dont use them for sound doctrine.
Well, it works ok if you 5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight." Prov 3:5-6

HE really does, you know.

It means people can use them to support anything. They are like inkblots, people see what they want to see.
People use every verse of scripture, not just the parables, to further their own decisions about the meaning they want to find about reality. Satan quotes scripture with his own interpretation and if few are those who find the gate, then most of scriptural interpretation follows his lead, not Christ's.

The words are written not to enlighten (which is the job of the Holy Spirit) so much as to sift the chaff to be burnt from the good seed. Misinterpretations are therefore necessary to this purpose to prove to the sinful good seed that they must come out from among them and to be separate from the weeds so the postponement of the day of judgement can end, Matt 13:28-30.
