That verse does not say that Jesus' "divinity" enabled him to be sinless."For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15).
Since God was his Father, Jesus did not inherit the sin nature all descendants of Adam have. He was born without a sin nature, and kept himself from sinning. Jesus is the "second man," the "last Adam". He was just like Adam was before Adam sinned. Adam chose to sin, condemning himself and all his progeny to death. Jesus chose not to sin, and then gave his life as the only acceptable sacrifice for sin, making it available for anyone who believes on him to be saved.Without Jesus' divinity how could He have been sinless?
