Confessing Jesus is it enough?

Commands like:

Repent and believe the gospel. Impossible?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Impossible?

Love God with your heart, mind and soul. Impossible?

Go and make disciples, baptizing them in his name. Impossible?

I think you’re selling yourself short.

I don't want to give you the wrong impression here.
I have a good relationship with God.

And Jesus teachings are an effective catalyst for my life choices.
However, Jesus has some very tough teachings that are
difficult to even understand, let alone comply with.

Calling these things law makes them an absolute requirement.
I don't think grace works that way.

Galatians 5:4 NIV
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ;
you have fallen away from grace.

Deliberately disobey Jesus and we’ll find out.

Even Jesus said the way is difficult. He never said, nor will he ever, the way is impossible.

Difficult sayings of Jesus? I’ll buy that.
