The Lord Jesus has not stopped taking believers into His Church; good news, don't you think? Joel may have quoted Acts 2:17, but Acts was written long before Joel.

good catch...wondering it you would. And I see that you have it backwards as Joel was WRITTEN , BEFORE Acts !!

AND for starters , the Greek word EKKLESIA does not mean Church ., as EKK means a OUT OF and KLESIS means a calling , is other words A CALLED OUT ASSEMBLY , , and just check VINE 'S DICTIONARY .
In Acts 2:47 , And the LORD was adding to the ASSEMBLY daily the ones being saved .
The Greek word ADDING / PROSTITHEEMI is in the Greek IMPERFECT TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE , and in the INDICATIVE MOOD .
The IMPERFECT TENSE means that the LORD was ADDING and than stopped !!
The LORD stop adding to that assembly at Acts 28: 25-31 and Acts 2:17 is a direct quote FROM Joel 2:28-32 .
There are more verse , like 2 Cor 3:9-15 , and Isa 6:1-18 .

And do you believe that the BODY of CHRIST is the BRIDE ?Yes the church is called out from the faithless world daily. . they are ones being saved .
The first listed apostle (sent one) sent with prophecy was Able. Abel is also the first martyr listed. His blood that cries out longing to be clothed with the incorruptible ( the righteousness of Christ) like the blood of all saints that make up the bride of Christ the church .
The 12 a remnant of the 27 listed in the new they were set aside to help understand the description of the bride (Revaltion 21..)
12 is a number used throughout the bible that represent the authority of God used in various parables .(the signified understanding.).
Apostle "sent one" with no other meaning added .Somehow it means "venerable ones" as "puffed up daily the ones being saved .above as it is written today, as if we did serve a hierarchy of men. (law of the fathers I heard it through the grape vine )
And do you believe that the BODY of CHRIST is the BRIDE ?
And Jer 3:8 lets all know that CHRIST was already MARRIED to Israel and Judah !!
Is Christ a bigamist ?
A book on NUMBERS by BULLINGER is a must to have called NUMBER IN SCRIPTURE !

No, He divorced Israel because of their whoredom, Idolatry, fornication and other sins. After the Church (body of Christ) is removed from the earth, Jesus will mediate a reunion between God, the Father and His divorced wife, the Remnant of Israel. First Israel must go through Daniel's 70th week with includes the "Great Tribulation/Jacobs Troubles". Only the believers after 2/3 of Jews die will the remaining 1/3 be saved and given the New Covenant He speaks of in Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8.No not a bigamist he divorced Israel. Not all Israel are born again Christians the new name the father named the bride in Acts. He again divorced the Jews who did not have the born again Spirit of Christ . If any man has not the Spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit of God then neither do they belong to him
And where is Acta is the BRIDE FOUND ??No not a bigamist he divorced Israel. Not all Israel are born again Christians the new name the father named the bride in Acts. you have a big chip on your shoulder....the reformation brought on the Great-Tribulation?Not a salvation issue I see that a little differently
God is no respecter of the flesh. he is not served by human hands in any way shape or form as if His kingdom was of this world.(Acts 17:25-28 ) In that way God can use a unbeliever to preach the gospel just as easily as one that does have the faith of Christ.
Not all Israel is born again Israel. You could say in the same way not all that name the name Christian are Christians the new name he named His bride. Or a Jew is not one outwardly according to the flesh but one inwardly born again of the Spirit of Christ. In that way if any man has not the Holy Spirit of Christ then thy do not belong as the bride of Christ.
I look at the first century reformation the restoring the government of God to Judges before there were kings in Israel (the abomination of desolation ) the reformation brought "Great Tribulation (Jacobs Troubles") Jacob meaning the deceiver the name he previously named divorced Israel . A time in Israel unlike ever before or ever again . A time of Joy great Joy for the gentiles and the believing Jewish Christians .
Hi thanks for the replyyou have a big chip on your shoulder....the reformation brought on the Great-Tribulation?
Really....Jacob is Israel.....and is righteous in the eyes of GOD.....yet you keep giving GOD bad marks?
