There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of stories about planes that have gone missing or have mysterious crimes committed while passengers were on board. Some cases will eventually be cleared up after years of research, but others may not ever be solved. This is likely true for the sudden disappearance of Santiago Flight 513 in 1953, though the plane mysteriously returned 35 years later.

Da plane. Did I miss it or did they never say what happened to the da plane?

But considering missing Malaysia flight 370, a 747 doesn't just doesn't disappear.
The flaperon fiasco, if anything showed that the plane didn't go down since it
wouldn't have floated under the surface that long. Yet when they get to public
to believe something wrong to be right, they are going to believe a plane's wings
are air tight.
