SO HOW are people SAVED TODAY ?

Right. Why do people fight doing God's will? Why do they fight living to please Jesus? When a person wants to get saved, they are to promise to die to the sins of the world. Not everyone is rich and has to go around giving it to people, but if we have a family member who needs help and we can afford it, then we should help. We are to share are stuff, we don't have to give away our stuff. We don't have to become traveling ministers. Why do people resist on obeying Jesus, how hard is it? We obey by humbling ourselves, we are to grow in faith, and increase our knowledge. We are to live our lives training ourselves do do right and not sin, to think of what is lovely and true, to forgive others who have harmed us. They fight obeying God and just want to teach faith alone or you are condemned. They misunderstand Paul.
Complicated religious doctrine is a clever avoidance of the simplicity of the Gospel.

People are saved the same way as all are saved, by believing and obeying Jesus.

Paul had to obey and believe Jesus. He wasn't saved as soon as he believed on that road to Damascus.

Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Paul had to find out what he had to do; Jesus told him where to go, Paul obeyed and went, and then for the next three days he stayed BLIND and probably had the gospel message told to him.

In those THREE DAYS of being in the city where Jesus told him where to go, Paul did NOT eat or drink and he spent that time praying.

Acts 9:9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Can you imagine the prayers of Paul?! Paul no doubt was crying and wailing and asking God to forgive him for all his sins.

This is what Jesus told a disciple named Ananius. He tells him to go to a man named Paul FOR HE IS PRAYING.

Acts 9:11 The Lord told him, "Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.

Acts 9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

The disciple Ananias put his hands on Paul and he received his sight. Then Paul got up and WAS WATER BAPTIZED after that. Water baptism is what happens AFTER a person REPENTS OF THEIR SINS. This all happened to the praying Paul who no doubt repented of his sins and asked for forgiveness.

Acts 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.'

When Paul had his vision restored to him, he was told to get up, be baptized and wash his sins away, calling on the Lord.

In the Bible when people were baptized with water that was symbolic of having their sins washed away, after they repented.

Then people came out of the water after repenting and being baptized, they called upon the name of the Lord.

We are told to believe, and repent, and to call upon the name of the Lord.

That scripture isn't about anyone and everyone having the Holy Spirit if they say Jesus is Lord.

That scripture is about people in the New Testament times who speak in tongues. Paul is reassuring the people that no one speaking in tongues by the Holy Spirit will say Jesus is accursed, only Jesus is Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:1Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Paul did NOT keep doing the things that qualified himself as the worst of sinners!

That scripture is showing where water saved too.

We have to obey Jesus teachings.
And you bare going to me a verse where WATER BAPTISM SAVES , and I will study what verse you will give me !

Water baptism is a ceremony that you can do in your own pool, or even your own bath water, like they did in at people's homes in the New Testament times.

It is a ceremony of something you already did in your heart.

It is a promise to God that you will die to the sins of the world, and live to please Jesus.

See this scripture where Peter says it is a pledge:

1 Peter 3:20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.

Read how Paul describes water baptism:

Romans 6:3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Picture how baptism looks, a person confesses their sins to God and repent of it, they fall backwards as if dead, they go under the water as if buried, then they raise up out of the water to live their new life.

When a person would hear the true gospel, as from Paul, there would be another apostle to do the water baptizing.

Read this scripture how Paul describes himself as the seed planter---the one who preached the word, and see how he calls Apollos, his helper, the one who did the water baptisms...

1 Corinthians 3:6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow

The problem nowadays is that we don't have the apostles going around preaching the true gospel, we now have a lot of false teachers.
So how do we find the truth now? We get Jesus' teachings from the New Testament and do what he says.

Romans 6:3 and Romans 6:4 is spiritual baptism, not water.

Those scriptures describe water baptism.
And it does not , period !!

Rom 6:4 reads , through BAPTISM is not in the Greek TEXT AT ALL .

It should read BAPTISMA INTO DEATH ?

SO what does BAPTISMA , then mean ?

BAPTISMA does not mean water , it mean a BAPTIZER , like John , but here this BAPTISMA is The Holy Spirit , like in Eph 4:5 ONE BAPTISMA , so check the Greek text !
