Why Birds Survived, and Dinosaurs Went Extinct, After an Asteroid Hit Earth
Paleontologists think that beaks may have given birds an advantage over other creatures.
It's back trying not to be forgotten. There is far less support for this event than the Cataclysm, even by Ager's standards. The impacts that created piles of dino bones in the Rockies are not from one direction. They are from walls of water pushing them into place. The size of the impact is a huge debate, too.
And before all this, there is the question of 4.5B of evolution starting over. Or can it? If everything is contaminated by utterly foreign material, and the earth is hopelessly fragile, how could it possibly start over?
