Children of Adam & Eve

Genesis 5
(4) The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.

There is so much detail that the Bible leaves out.
One such detail is the other children of Adam & Eve.
We read in scripture about of their children (Cain, Abel, Seth), but nothing of the others.

However, other Jewish writings do talk about some of them.
In Jewish Midrash you can read about:

Adam has 33 sons and 23 daughters.
Cain was born a twin with a sister, who married Abel.
Abel was born a triplet with two sisters, one of which married Cain.
There were multiple reasons Cain was angered by his brother Abel and killed him.
1. God accepted Abel's sacrifice, but not Cain's.
2. The two brothers argued over which one should marry the 3rd sister.
3. The two brothers argued over how to divide land and material possessions between them.

Rubbish. According to Clement of Rome's LXX, God had no patience with Cain. Cain thought that lazy farming was good farming.

Clement had his speculations.
Jews had theirs.
We cannot concretely say which is rubbish because scripture is silent on the matter.

I mean, Cain was the firstborn.
Why would his father, Adam, raise him to be a cultivator of the field instead of a sheep herder if it was a bad choice?????
After all, God placed Adam in the garden to cultivate it; cultivating land was necessary.
And God commanded Israel's sacrifices to be of both grain and animal.

Are these your speculations, or is this what the Jewish scholars said?

Cain chose to do less, and Abel chose to do more and learn more. Cain then out of a fit of rage kills Abel.

From Jewish Midrash.

I just googled one you can read.
Search for Chapter 22 in the text and read it there.
